Thankful Thursday

I am so thankful for the great friends that my girls have. We often take friends for granted without telling them how much we care for them.

I am also thankful that it is almost the end of January and beach weather will be here before we know it.

Favorite Foto Friday # 74- New

Being "new" to blogging I am following some themes from other wonderful bloggers. The theme for this FFF is "new". I thought about what was new going on at the Neidlinger's.

R has decided that she is going to quit sucking her thumb! Thank the Lord! She began sucking it after I quit nursing her. About 2 years ago I purchased the thumb guard. Since I wasn't consistent with the guard and she hated it we put it into the closet. She has decided that she needs to wear it so that she won't suck! I am SO proud of her. Hopefully, this will do the trick. She reminds me to put it back on after bath time. We will see how it goes!

Bedrooms

OK, is it just me or do teenage girls(I know nothing about boys) do stupid things just to see if they will be caught? K- 16 has decided that her closet is a great place to put her clothes. The problem that I have is that she just throws all the clothes clean or dirty into the bottom! I am sure that this happens when I give her the ultimatum that she can't go anywhere until her room is clean. I guess that I will have to start "checking" her room better. I am trying to think of an appropriate punishment for being so careless and unthankful for her clothes. Just think, she never has anything to wear.......

Just to be fair, R's-4 room isn't much better, although it only took about 5 minutes to get completely tidy:) Trust me, nothing is hiding in her closets.

Sometimes life gets so hectic we don't appreciate the many things that we are thankful for! I am incredibly grateful that God chose these three girls especially for us. He knew exactly who to send AND when. It is hard to believe that I sometimes question Him....

Wow, winter has hit south Georgia with a ton of cold weather that we are not used too.
Before we go out to brave the awful cold we must first coordinate our clothes. You never who you may see when its 20 degrees:)
